After years of teaching students Retirement Planning, David Ashby opened a fee-only financial advising firm in Magnolia, which now retired Mustard Seed partner Darla Williams helped operate. At the same time, David completed his teaching career at Southern Arkansas University. Fascinated by how people save and spend money, Ashby strives to guide clients to financial freedom and has fostered that mentality in the Mustard Seed philosophy. Our approach to investing is based on historical data. We focus on diversifying your family portfolio while minimizing taxes and preserving your principal.

When counseling clients, we learn their goals and also listen to their concerns to form a holistic view of their financial plans. By networking with other professionals like estate attorneys and accountants, we take a team approach to meeting client needs to ensure they get proper results. At Mustard Seed, we have systems in place to provide customer service and quick response for all our clients, providing them with honest and transparent feedback. With a combined experience of over 60 years in comprehensive planning, we serve individuals, businesses, and foundations. Mustard Seed has grown to ten advisors across five locations, and we've done so by building a foundation and infrastructure that, just like our client's financial plans, allows for future growth throughout the generations. We're committed to ensuring that our clients have the same personalized experience today and for the many years and decades still to come.
